This figurehead shaped like a dragon’s head is made of wood from a jackfruit tree. It is carved with a pattern of intertwined bean tendrils, and was used as an adornment for a boat belonging to Malay royalty. It was owned by the royal family of Pahang in the late 19th century and is more than a century old.
