The National Museum is open every day, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Only closed on the first and second day of Eid-ul Fitr and the first day of Eid al-Adha.

Guided tours at the National Museum are conducted by Museum Volunteers, Department of Museum Malaysia in 6 languages. You can apply for a walk-in guided tour (limited) at the National Museum information counter or make a reservation 2 weeks prior the tour date. You may board the MRT train and alight at MRT Muzium Negara station. Or, you can take the KTM/LRT/ERL/Monorel and alight at KL Sentral station where you have to walk for 10 minutes through the connection station to the National Museum MRT. If you prefer to take the bus, you can board the RED GoKL bus and alight at Muzium Negara bus stop. If you are getting here by car, we provide parking rates as follows:
